tk45 looks cool.
I lived in a flashlight vacuum for years. Like a lot of guys, I assumed that maglite was the way to go. Picked up an L2D a while back and was amazed at the light technology available. No more maglites for me.
I have a ta21 and an older pd30, they are the best
What is up with Fenix and all these different modes on every single light? No I don’t need a strobe on a 10 lumen keychain light lol
I like the simplicity of the TA21. dial it in and use the switch. A little long, though. I wonder if they have a more compact version.
unicorn haha! surprised he didnt talk about the new PD30 R4
ooh i want the tk45!!
@ mook528
I used to think that too, but I have used my strobe and it was useful.
But the thing is those modes are not the first thing that happens, they turn on to regular solid beams, I hardly even think about the strobe features.. until I need them occasionally .. but they don’t bother me as much as the thought of them used to (before I owned their lights)
nice vid guys.
That Rep knows his products! Nice to see.
i have that mc-10. it is very nice, can be used as a lantern in the top inside a tent and great to put on a vest etc comes with diffuser.
i also got a ld10 in my coat or pants and e01 on my keychain, as my edc lights.
The salesrep should have talked more about that new tactical light with 2 AAs.
Am I the only one to notice the warmer light of the TK40?
While the TK40 might still be called a cool color light it’s definitely warmer than all my LD20 (got a SMO and an OP), LD10, PD20 which shows only minor color variation despite bought different places at different times. While it’s difficult to get on camera the TK45′s color compared to the TK40 it seems looks just like my say LD20 in color compared to my TK40. I much prefer the TK40 color (thoughI still want it warmer if possible).
Just not enough time in this video for him to cover everything I guess. Maybe you guys should’ve guided him into a certain direction….unless you didn’t care of course.
I have owned the Fenix LD10 (4″ and runs on 1 AA) and it works wonderfully. Gave it to my bro who kept hassling me for it. Coworker also has the LD20…runnin on 2 AA’s.
I love their lights…some companies more expensive like Surefire but others much cheaper too……
@ biga816
You don’t exactly get to ‘steer’ this guy. We’ve done reviews with him for two years now and he pretty much tells us about the lights he wants to ..
(Second rep) you would think that a spokes person would be chosen for their ability to speak clearly.
Not bad. Fenix is coming up with some nice designs. I like the multiple configuration options of the TK30 a lot.
Thanks for the video. I really do appreciate it. You guys put out videos on a variety of subjects. But, man, you need to keep the video recorder in mind. At least a third of the time, the light was above the camera view with the camera focused on his badge. Does the camera not have a screen? Not all cameras do. Anyways, thanks again. I wouldn’t of have known they came out with a more powerful light. Had thoughts on and off about buying one. Thumbs Up.
Well.. thanks for watching and for the comment
But, we are not pros, we don’t claim to be professionals, and we don’t plan to go to school to learn camera holding
We are regular guys (and gals) who like gear and are having fun with the videos..
However if you want professional videos, there are a few out there, unfortuanatly they are pointed at lame stuff usually since pros are typically NOT regular gear users so they have little idea what to film although they do film lame stuff well
Fair enough. Again, thanks for your videos.
Wondering when Fenix will come out with a pistol light and create some quality competition in that arena. $200+ for a decent pistol light right now is ludicrous.
you have to keep in mind that these are small cameras and what i mean by small is: Flip style cameras. thats means auto everything (no focusing) . there ment to be down and dirty videos. being a videographer myself when i have my little camera with me. its get info out and review not setting up or even lighting a shot.
@Seven7hSon
I ordered a Quark AA² R5 from 4Sevens after Owning a Fenix L2D Q5
@GearBuyersGuide Some professionalism goes a long way in many things. Think about that.
